Banish Blue Monday

blue mondayJanuary 19th is thought to be the most depressing day of the year. The Christmas glow has well and truly worn off, your New Year’s resolutions may already have slipped, pay day still seems a long way off and, in the northern hemisphere at least, it’s cold, very very cold.

These things combined are enough to the get you down, but they don’t have to. Take a moment to banish Blue Monday: think a happy thought, smile, laugh, breathe, have a stretch, message a friend, ignore the negativity and Blue Monday might not seem so blue!

And if all that doesn’t work, then listen to this reggae version of New Order’s ‘Blue Monday’ – it’s impossible to listen to reggae and feel blue at the same time.
